Entry requirements

For international students

The following are minimum requirements to be considered for entry into the program.Admission decisions are based on the qualifications of the applicant as well as the ability of the Department of English, Theatre, Film Media and the University of Manitoba to serve the applicant's intended program of study and area of specialization.To be considered for admission to the PhD in English program, you must hold a Master's degree in English with a GPA of at least 3.5 in your work at the MA level.
