Audiology: Fees & Entry Requirements at University of Southampton, UK

What will I learn?

On this three-year course you'll gain a comprehensive knowledge of audiology and the clinical and professional skills needed to become an audiology healthcare professional. You’ll develop essential academic, professional and employability skills and receive clinical training from day one. You'll learn from practising clinicians and researchers at the cutting edge of audiology, at the only UK university with in-house audiology and auditory implant services. Throughout the course, you'll attend practical sessions in our dedicated skills laboratory, consolidating your skills during a 27-week placement, which starts at the end of year two and continues into year three. We'll help you to prepare for your career, supporting you to work on a clinical training portfolio and a professional development portfolio that will stay with you throughout your working life. You'll also have the opportunity to meet representatives from the NHS, the private and charity sectors, and cochlear implant and hearing aid companies at our annual employability careers event. Accredited by the Academy of Healthcare Science, British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists, and Health and Care Professionals Council.
