Accreditation is a mark of assurance that the degree meets the standards set by the Engineering Council in the UK Standard for Professional Engineering Competence (UK- PEC).Your future:An accredited degree gives you the knowledge, understanding and skills for eventual registration as an Incorporated (IEng) or Chartered Engineer (CEng). Some employers prefer graduates from accredited degrees, and your degree is also more likely to be recognised in other countries if you're looking to work abroad.
