What will I learn?
Understanding the interplay between the written word and the moving image is key to our world. Combining the study of Film and English will allow you to explore texts you love, as you learn how to analyse and tell stories in written and visual form. You’ll be taught and supported by enthusiastic, internationally renowned professors, researchers, and media practitioners and you’ll work in industry-standard production facilities, as part of the Yorkshire Film and Television School. Developing creative, technical, and analytical skills, you’ll also work on your ability to analyse, research, and write persuasively about a rich variety of films, shows and filmmakers. These include the latest superhero blockbusters through to indie movies and YouTube releases.
