MSc Cyber Security Management

What will I learn?

Our Master’s in Cyber Security Management has a practical approach, focusing on how theoretical concepts are applied in real-world industry situations. You will develop your strategic thinking, how to manage resources, implement solutions, and effectively communicate these to senior decision-makers to support the strategic growth of a business and safe-guard it from cyber attack. We are focused on your future employability, and you will learn key cyber security strategies and concepts alongside the professional skills required to become a strong and effective manager in a data-rich environment. This course is accredited by The Chartered Management Institute so upon successful completion of the course, you will have the option to apply for a CMI Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership as well as your degree. Your learning experience is important to us, and that’s why this course is taught by experienced business professionals in workshop-style classes to ensure you can benefit from greater interaction with your lecturer. This course is offered as a 2-year full-time business master’s programme. Sharing the first year of study with the 1-year MSc Cyber Security Management, the 2-year programme benefits from a second year of Professional Practice that is specifically aimed at fostering the employment opportunities of students. Offering greater flexibility than a traditional Placement Year, our Professional Practice Year allows you to decide how to put your skills into practice. Choose between an academic dissertation, business plan, business or consultancy project, or a paid placement in industry, depending on the option that is best suited to your future career path. Apply now. Why study a Business Master’s degree with us? Should you be unable to complete the full programme, you may still be awarded a Diploma or Certificate depending on terms completed.
