What will I learn?

Students studying Music Entrepreneurial Studies learn the capacity and willingness to develop, organize, and manage a music business venture along with any of its risks in order to make a profit. Students enroll in both traditional and contemporary courses in music theory, business, and technology, as well as the fundamentals of musicianship in private lessons and ensemble performance.Student Learning OutcomesSLO 1: Students will demonstrate proficiency in music theory as demonstrated on a summative assessment.SLO 2: Students will communicate an understanding of music history through formal written composition.SLO 3: Students will communicate an understanding of current practices in their field of study (music technology or music entrepreneurial studies.
