What will I learn?

EWU’s Applied Technology program is designed for students who already hold a technical associate degree (AAS, AAAS, ATA, or similar). If you’ve studied areas like computer technology, electronics technology, mechanical engineering technology, civil engineering technology, or drafting/design technology at a community college, this program is your next step. Here, you’ll build on your existing technical expertise with advanced technology courses, problem-solving and design projects, and essential liberal arts classes that strengthen your communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills. You’ll also work closely with faculty mentors, complete an internship, and tackle a senior capstone project that ties everything together.
