What will I learn?

The Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences provides an interdisciplinary academic program of study that fosters competencies in areas related to biomedical sciences, health sciences, as well as core competencies in the liberal arts and sciences and prepares students for health professions and graduate programs. Biomedical Sciences has been defined by the National Institute of Medicine and the Department of Health and Human Services as, ''an applied science that deals with human and animal health, including the study, research and knowledge of health and the application of that knowledge to improve health, cure diseases, and increase our understanding of how humans and animals function.'' Entry requirements

For international students

Complete and submit an online application; Include a statement of activity if you have a gap in your education of more than three months between your graduation date and date of application submission; An essay and recommendation letters are strongly encouraged, but not required, for all programs except for Pharmacy, which requires both; Official academic records and/or official certificates/results from the Ministry of Education or secondary school in original language with official English translation; Official examination results (if taken) from the examining board (i.e., International Baccalaureate, General Certificate of Education, Caribbean Examinations Council, West African Examinations Council). Students who are home-schooled outside of the US need to submit a NACES member course-by-course evaluation.
