The Certificate in College Teaching is designed to equip you with the pedagogical skills necessary to become an effective teacher-scholar. Through mentorship and coursework, you will develop expertise in your discipline, interdisciplinary teaching, and educational theory. The Certificate in College Teaching consists of a variety of coursework and experiences guided by a student’s mentor. Students will select a mentor and develop a plan of study that addresses three major components: discipline-specific teaching experience/study, interdisciplinary pedagogy, and theory.
