What will I learn?

Wayne State's Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Sciences (GIS) equips graduates for careers that require the creation, use and analysis of spatial data.Students will explore general social science, natural science and environmental applications of GIS. Graduates will learn to code within GIS software so as to permit advanced spatial analysis used to address issues related to the environment, urban planning, public administration, public health, business, homeland security, emergency management, new forms of mobility and more.
