What will I learn?

The central goal of the Associate degree in Information Technology in the Collins College of Professional Studies is to prepare students either to enter the job market or to move on to a 4-year degree program leading to the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, or to another related 4-year degree program at St. John’s University.The program will prepare students to:Demonstrate knowledge of the functions and processes of computer systems, communications systems, and applications software.Discuss the logical and theoretical foundations of information technology and the way these foundations are applied in practice.Demonstrate a broad-based knowledge of basic concepts and principles relating to computer science, communications technology, and applications software.

Entry requirements

For international students

To Qualify, applicants must: Meet our minimum high school or transfer academic requirement; Have a TOEFL of 80 or higher/IELTS of 6.5 or higher/Duolingo of 105+ or higher/SAT EWR 440 or higher. Application deadline for fall term is Feb 01st and Spring applicants are encouraged to submit their admission application and all required credentials by January 14.
