The Department bases its program on belief in the inherent worth and dignity of each person, the importance of developing self awareness, and continuing personal growth throughout the lifespan.Graduates of the program help persons as individuals, couples, or as members of a family. Students in the HDC program choose from one of three concentrations: Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School Counseling, or Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students must have completed a bachelors degree who are applying for a masters or doctoral degree Students must complete an application to the university and have official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended submitted to the Office of Admission Full Admission Minimum GPA of 3.00 for last 60 credit hours of undergraduate degree or cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.75 English proficiency requirement
