Other eligibility requirements

Manchester Metropolitan alumni  

Up to a 20% tuition fee reduction on eligible courses to our graduates to support the cost of postgraduate study. You will receive an email prior to enrolment with confirmation of the discount. 

University of Manchester alumni  

Up to a 10% tuition fee discount on eligible courses to graduates of The University of Manchester. You will receive an email prior to enrolment with confirmation of the discount.

Eligibility  

You must have been awarded one of the following qualifications from Manchester Metropolitan University or The University of Manchester (including one of its predecessor institutions: the Victoria University of Manchester, and UMIST (University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology) prior to starting the eligible taught postgraduate course: 

• An undergraduate bachelor’s degree with or without honours e.g. BA, BSc, LLM, BEng. 
• A foundation degree e.g. FD Arts, FD Science. 
• An undergraduate integrated masters degree e.g. Master of Chemistry or Master of Engineering. 
• A taught masters degree e.g. MA, MSc, LLM. 
• A Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). 
• A Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL). 

Other qualifications will not be considered. 

Eligible postgraduate courses 

You can get an alumni discount on most of our postgraduate taught courses.  

There are a few courses we do not offer discount for, this includes: 

• Postgraduate research degrees 
• PGCE courses 
• Integrated masters courses (e.g. Master of Chemistry or Master of Engineering) 
• PGCert Architecture and Contemporary Practice
