What will I learn?

The Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering is offered by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Your course of study includes completion of computer programming, computer-based modeling, and electrical/computer engineering courses. You also conduct a research project with an electrical/computer engineering faculty member. This unique training prepares you for future engineering practice that requires engineers to master both electrical/computer engineering and computational methods.At the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, we are preparing undergraduate and graduate students alike for Industry 4.0 - the world's fourth industrial revolution. We offer industry-leading programs in electrical and computer engineering, engineering management and our newly-launched robotics engineering program.

Entry requirements

A cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 2.75 out of 4.00Applicants for graduate study must have earned at least a 4-year U.S. equivalent Baccalaureate degree. Typically, 16 years of schooling with four years of full-time study at the university level, culminating with the award of a first or second degree. Applicants must submit their academic record/transcript at the time of application. The Graduate School accepts unofficial transcripts at the time of application and does not require third-party credential evaluations.
