Keep your transcripts ready along with your CV, Statement of Purpose, Letters of Recommendation, and scores of all necessary tests. Your funding options proof and employment proof, where applicable, may also be needed.

Get these exam scores: The most common are the English language skills tests. Usually, IELTS, TOEFL or a few other tests are accepted. Check the college’s requirements and take the right tests well in advance. The GRE/ GMAT tests are also usually mandatory for all courses/colleges.  Pay attention to the minimum scores needed in all these tests.

Have some work experience: Some courses may require students to have work experience. For example, the University of South Wales takes students with a two-year experience. Some MBA colleges in Canada may let you avoid the GMAT exam if you have good enough work experience.
