In this video Katy stresses on the importance of the letter of recommendation that needs to be submitted by students along with their admission application form. At the University of Glasgow applicants should submit two letters of recommendation written by their professors or teachers. It is important that the person writing the letter should have directly taught the applicant.
The letter of recommendation should highlight the significant academic achievements of the applicant and mention details of any academic project that the applicant has completed. Students are advised to contact their professors well in advance for their letter of recommendation. This is to ensure that they get a proper well-written letter as towards the end of the academic year professors and lecturers would be flooded with requests for such letters. Another important point to note is that students should send in their application form with all relevant documents well before the last date of acceptance of application forms.
