MSc. in Tourism and Hospitality Management

The University of Gothenburg, the third oldest Swedish University, offers a two year Master of Science degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management. Thesis writing and a final year project are part of the course.

The University of Gothenburg was founded in 1891 and is the third oldest Swedish University. The hospitality programme of the university is delivered through the School of Business, Economics and Law. The programme covers subjects including Tourism and hospitality law, managerial economics, event management, cultural tourism, etc. The final year project is based on applied research that is conducted under the supervisions of a faculty member.

Course pre-requisites include a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, and IELTS / TOEFL scores.

Master’s degree in Tourism

Mid Sweden University offers a postgraduate programme in Tourism on its Östersund campus. This course is offered in partnership with the European Tourism Research Institute (ETOUR). The University is well-known for its high-profile and competitive programmes in the field of tourism. Subjects covered within this programme include Tourism Research, Theory and Methodology, and Advanced Destination Development.
