They say there’s more to a book than its cover- and in the case of Canada- that holds true.  It is nothing like its cold exterior (Brrrrr)- it is as warm and as accepting as a country can be- open to international students- with its promising employment scene and high quality of life. These two factors are among the most important reasons why students choose to study in Canada.

You will literally have job opportunities lining up at your doorstep, because Canadian employers are looking for fresh and skilled graduates every year to contribute to their thriving economy.  If you’re going, “What do you mean” the way Justin Bieber does (the famous Canadian singer- songwriter- you’re a fan we are guessing?) - we’ll tell you what we mean.

We mean good news. When it comes to your employment options post your study in Canada, you will qualify for a post-graduate work permit if your study option covered a time frame of eight months or above. Your permit will be valid after you graduate for the same duration of time as the program you studied. And one fun fact we couldn’t resist sharing- you will get paid every two weeks- how awesome is that?

What do Canadian employers expect? Workaholics’ recent survey revealed that 67% employers interviewed said what they were looking for in candidates were the right work ethic, attitude, and teamwork abilities.  And to add to that- Canadian universities in general enjoy excellent reputation with employers.

Hungry for more? Well, you're at the right place. Here's some information you can “brown bag” - pun intended.
