What's Next In Line After Graduation?

Life after uni- those three words hold so much significance to the fresh college graduate. Prepare for the road ahead as you decide which direction you are heading. Fret not; here is LifeAfterCollege.org offering you a few guidelines on what your priorities should be.

First things first! Ensure you have a place to live; the rent should ideally be at or below 25% of your monthly income. If you’ve got this covered, the next big no-no you should look out for is debt! A swipe here and there seems harmless, but studies show that nearly 30% of people aged 18-24 spend 30% of their monthly income just on debt repayment. Stay on top of your finances with a clear idea of how many credit cards and assets you own and possibly set yourself a savings goal as well.
That being said, do you know your field of interest or are you still in the process of narrowing it down? Take time to nail down what you want to do and don’t panic if you’re still in confusion. No one said it was an easy transition from student life to real life.
Here are a few more guidelines for you.
